The greatest asset of HPMI is its research and administrative team, consisting of professors, technical support staff members, post-doctoral fellows, administrative staff members and approximately 70 research assistant students.

Many former HPMI research assistant students worked on company projects and became employees of the sponsoring company. In addition, many HPMI students work as summer interns at sponsoring companies and organizations.
