Post-Doctoral Fellow in Triboluminescence Detection Technology |
HPMI and the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering is seeking a highly motivated researcher to fill in an opening of a postdoc position in synthesis and characterization of semiconductor thin-film based triboluminescence detector and related nanostructures. Only applicants with extensive hands-on experience in synthesis and optical measurements of semiconductors/nanomaterials will be considered. The applicant should be expert in using of SEM, TEM, XRD, EPR, UV-Vis, FTIR, Radiation simulator and, EIS. The period of employment is 1 year, with a possibility of extension for a 2nd year based on performance and funding availability. The High-Performance Materials Institute (www.hpmi.net) at Florida State University (www.fsu.edu) is looking to hire a Post-doctoral fellow immediately in the area of Structural Health Monitoring (SHM). Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Engineering with a background in SHM related fields including sensors, NDE, data acquisition, electronics, signal processing and composite materials.
