Thermal

Vacuum Oven

Produces a vacuum or desired atmosphere conditions. This desired environment will prevent any surface reaction or contamination. Entire applications can take place under this conditions through the introduction of an inert gas. Used for thermal processes.

Vacuum Over

Produces a vacuum or desired atmosphere conditions. This desired environment will prevent any surface reaction or contamination. Entire applications can take place under this conditions through the introduction of an inert gas. Used for thermal processes.

Tube Furnace

Quickly heat up and/or cool down samples. Operates with the following specifications: Max temperature of 1100°C, 120 Volts, 6.8 Amps, 0.8kWatts, and 50/60 Hz. Typically used to coat, dry, hardening, or purification of samples

Atlas Heated Platens

Designed to form production parts that require both a controlled temperature and forming pressure. Provide heat-able/pressing surfaces compatible with the Specac Hydraulic Press. Controlled temperature to 300 celsius with water cooling, 15 ton load bearing capacity.

Manual Hydraulic Press

Designed for a wide variety of pressing applications, but they are specifically suited to make KBr (Potassium Bromide) discs. These discs are used for Infra-Red Spectroscopy, which can measure the vibrations of atoms and determine functional groups in molecules. Can be used to measure mechanical strength of a material under compression.
